On June 30, 2026, the 2026 Forest and Grassland Fire Prevention Drill of Gansu Provincial Forestry and Grassland System was successfully held in Diebu County, Gansu Province. Co-sponsored by Gansu Provincial Forestry and Grassland Administration and Bailongjiang Forest Protection Center of Gansu Province, undertaken by Gansu Forest Fire Early Warning Monitoring & Information Center and Diebu Ecological Construction Management & Protection Center of Gansu Province, and co-organized by Shenzhen Huimingjie Technology Co., Ltd., the drill centered on full-process practical scenarios of forest and grassland fire prevention and control, leveraging technology to empower the entire fire emergency response chain. As a core provider of technical and equipment support, Huimingjie participated throughout the drill with its full lineup of ad hoc mesh intelligent fire prevention and suppression equipment, building an intelligent fire control system featuring "early detection, rapid early warning, cross-department linkage and on-site disposal", and successfully fulfilled all drill tasks.

Targeting common industry pain points including complex mountain forest terrain, insufficient public network coverage, difficulty in fire detection and slow emergency response, the drill adopted Huimingjie’s ad hoc mesh communication technology as the core to build a full-closed-loop intelligent solution covering fire early warning through on-site suppression. Key drill sessions covered three core scenarios: intelligent patrol for fire detection, AI identification with real-time alarm transmission, and UAV precision fire suppression, fully demonstrating the practical performance of intelligent forest and grassland fire prevention systems.

Intelligent Patrol + AI Smoke & Flame Recognition: The First Line of Fire Warning Defense

At the outset of the drill, Huimingjie’s mesh networking UAV hangar was activated to operate under a regular unmanned patrol mode for autonomous full-area cruise across the rugged forest terrain of Diebu County. Equipped with an embedded AI intelligent smoke and flame recognition system, the patrol UAV accurately identified simulated fire spots during flight, instantly conducted intelligent smoke-flame analysis, locked precise latitude and longitude coordinates of fire sources, and triggered multi-level alarm mechanisms simultaneously.

The system transmits real-time fire location and live footage to the command center, while pushing alarm notifications to mobile terminals of corresponding forest rangers and management personnel. This marks a core breakthrough shifting fire detection from "passive discovery" to "active early warning", resolving longstanding industry drawbacks of traditional manual patrols: widespread blind zones, delayed fire detection and lagging alarm information delivery.

Full-Coverage Mesh Network Eliminates Information Barriers for Real-Time Full-Element On-Site Audio & Video Transmission

To address the critical issue of unstable audio and video transmission caused by absent public network signals in mountain forests, Huimingjie built an air-ground integrated full-coverage communication system centered on ad hoc mesh networking technology. Upon receiving alarm alerts, forest rangers rushed to fire sites carrying Huimingjie portable mesh terminals. Relying on mesh networking independent of public cellular infrastructure, the devices stream high-definition on-site audio, video and fire details back to the command center in real time.

Meanwhile, Huimingjie communication relay mesh UAVs took off rapidly to serve as aerial mesh relay nodes, forming seamless full-area mesh coverage together with ground handheld mesh terminals and UAV fleets, completely eliminating signal blind zones in woodlands.
Complemented by the fixed-site video monitoring and teleconferencing functions of Huimingjie conference deployment all-in-one machines, as well as the unified scheduling capability of portable triple-screen integrated command & dispatch cases, the command center maintains real-time oversight of fire site conditions, personnel deployment and equipment status. Bidirectional audio-video connectivity and instant instruction delivery between frontline crews and the rear command center deliver stable, reliable communication support and decision-making foundation for subsequent fire suppression operations.

Precision Disposal via Unmanned Equipment: UAV Fire Suppression Enables Rapid Fire Containment

After confirming fire coordinates and on-site fire conditions, two sets of Huimingjie Giant Spirit-150 fire suppression mesh UAVs took off immediately, loaded with dedicated fire extinguishing bombs and fire water buckets en route to the fire zones. Supported by the low-latency, high-reliability transmission of mesh communication, the command center remotely controls UAVs to hover precisely over fire sources, executing accurate bomb delivery and targeted water sprinkling to conduct multiple rounds of precision suppression on simulated fires, quickly containing and putting out blazes. This fully highlights the core strengths of UAV fire fighting: precise payload delivery, efficient suppression and zero risk to ground personnel.
In parallel, Huimingjie reconnaissance-strike integrated mesh UAVs maintained airborne patrol throughout the drill, conducting full-area surveillance and feeding back real-time fire dynamics and surrounding terrain data to provide multi-dimensional field data for the command center to adjust response strategies and oversee overall drill progress. The entire unmanned disposal workflow operates smoothly and efficiently, fully showcasing the practical value of intelligent unmanned equipment for forest and grassland fire response, and mitigating traditional fire-fighting pain points: inaccessible high-risk fire zones for ground crews, low disposal efficiency and severe safety hazards.
During the drill, Huimingjie’s full range of mesh intelligent fire prevention and suppression equipment achieved seamless coordination, forming a complete closed-loop intelligent fire control chain: unmanned patrol for fire detection, AI identification for accurate alarms, full-area mesh transmission, precision disposal via unmanned systems, and unified scheduling at the command center. The drill comprehensively verified the field performance of intelligent equipment under complex mountain forest conditions.
A high-tech enterprise dedicated to emergency communication and intelligent wildfire prevention, Huimingjie consistently takes technological innovation as its core driver. Focused on the pain points of forest and grassland fire protection, the company has developed a full-chain solution built around ad hoc mesh communication, integrating AI intelligent recognition, unmanned aerial systems and command & dispatch platforms. Moving forward, Huimingjie will deepen R&D and real-scene implementation, delivering more mature intelligent hardware and comprehensive solutions to upgrade the intelligent and modern fire prevention capacity of forest and grassland authorities in Gansu Province and nationwide. The company will contribute robust technological strength to consolidating national ecological security barriers and safeguarding green mountains, clear waters and natural ecosystems.
