Haikou Fire and Rescue Detachment procured a total of 15 UAV systems, including one set of multi-functional UAV, six sets of small multi-functional UAVs, one set of mapping UAV, and seven sets of small UAVs.

At rescue sites, these UAVs can leverage their aerial advantages to arrive before personnel, conduct advance site reconnaissance, monitoring, search and rescue, evidence collection, real-time 2D/3D mapping, aerial broadcasting and command, aerial illumination, and other tasks. They can also guide ground rescue personnel by identifying safe routes of travel.
